3. No Consumer-Reporting Function

Monterey Park Residents Directory is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. section 1681 and following. Material on the reference and results from linked tools are not consumer reports and may not be used to assess eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another FCRA-covered purpose.

4. Third-Party Destinations

Government portals, library collections, and third-party services, including sponsored search tools, operate under their own terms and policies. The operators of this reference do not control their content, uptime, prices, or data practices.

8. Copyright and Linking

The original writing, design, logo, and layout are protected by copyright. Links and short attributed quotations are welcome; full-page republication and systematic copying are not.

11. California Law

California law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Public-record discussions refer to the California Public Records Act, Government Code section 7920.000 and following, as recodified in 2023. That statute does not override privacy, sealed-record, voter, vital-record, or other specific restrictions.

12. Severability

If a court finds one provision unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
